The department of cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery is headed by Dr.Amolkumar Bhoje, who brings with him the legacy and knowledge of world renowned Apex health institutes from India and abroad. He finished his undergraduate degree from KLE’s JN medical college belagavi. He completed his master’s degree at reputed national institute PGI chandigarh. He obtained his training in cardiothoracic surgery at the premier institute of the country, the AIIMS New Delhi. Immediately after his training He was selected for the post of consultant at AIIMS. He served as a consultant cardiothoracic surgery at AIIMS New Delhi for 3 years. He was actively involved in research projects at AIIMS. He achieved international standards of cardiac surgery practice, FRCS from the Royal College of surgeons, Edinburgh UK. He recently became a European board certified cardiac surgeon by clearing the FEBCTS exam.
